Andrew's passion for crafting master planned landscapes of all styles and scales has resulted in the delivery of many successful projects and beautiful residences, particularly around South East Queensland. Andrew enjoys the diversity of work encountered in his profession, relishing the challenge of providing creative solutions to the problems faced at a local and global scale. Maintaining strong links with the development, construction & nursery industries, as well as local authorities and specialist contractors, Andrew cleverly collaborates with these design partners to create spaces and relationships that last.
Andrew chaired the LDI National Landscape Design Awards for 2024 & 2025, overseeing the judging for Australia’s leading professional landscape design competition, and has been on the organising committee for these Awards since 2022. He also won the highest award in Australia in the 150sqm+ residential landscape design category in 2016 for designing the Graya home in Kenmore Hills, Brisbane. He has started the popular ‘Designer Walks’ series for LDI which takes fellow professional landscape designers on tours behind the scenes of private gardens & flower shows, digging deeper to find the story behind each garden & their designer.
Some of the exciting events in South-East Queensland that Andrew has spear-headed include planning the revitalisation of the Old Museum Gardens through his work with the RNA on the Flower & Garden Committee, as well as directing the Hidden Design Festival for AILDM (the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers) in Queensland.
Aside from his professional career, Andrew enjoys travelling, gardening & socialising with family & friends. He also loves playing and watching many sports including Cricket, Tennis, Golf, Orienteering, Rugby Union, Soccer, NRL, AFL, NBA, Supercars, Indycars & Speedway.
